Sidecar (noun)

- a sidecar is a motorcycle attachment used to transport either passengers or cargo. Sidecars are extremely safe and stable. Be ready for lots of waves, smiles and thumbs-up from passer-by and other vehicles! Our Zoomz Sidecar can accommodate two passengers – on as a pillion on our vespa and another in the sidecar attachment.

Safety

Is a sidecar safe?

Our sidecars have been inspected by the Government of Rajasthan and fully licensed as a motorcycle, and must abide by the same rules and regulations as any other motorized vehicle traveling on the road. Accidents can happen; but rest assured that your Zoomz guide is an experienced motorcycle rider with an unblemished driving record, and will be transporting you as safely as possible.

What is the minimum age for passengers?

We can only accommodate children over 5.  We do have motorcycle helmets that are approved for children.  We would prefer that passengers riding on the back of the motorcycle be at least 16 years of age, and able to follow the directions of the driver/guide.

Are there any physical restrictions?

Maximum weight per passenger in the sidecar is 100kg. We will be happy to take guests with physical disabilities in our sidecar - this was what it was initially created for!

Will I be driving the sidecar?

An experienced and licensed guide will be driving the sidecar. That gives you the chance to see the sights without the distraction of driving.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Helmets are mandatory and we provide them for all guests of Zoomz Sidecar Tours.

Administrative

What is included in the price per person?

Prices per adult are in in USD. It includes F&B selected by ZoomZ guide, bike with sidecar, helmets, raincoat and guide. This excludes entrance fees to tourist sites. Please select add on for pick up location outside the city and/or young passenger (12 and under).

What type of clothing should I wear?

We recommend passengers wear long pants. It is always a good idea to bring a jacket in winter months, as it can get chilly at times.

Do I need to purchase insurance?

Yes, please ensure that you have your own travel insurance. Our vehicles are all insured and we carry commercial business liability insurance as well.

How early should I book my tour?

Tours can book up quickly, so it is always best to book your tour as early as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. Just give us a call at +91-9119168888 if you cant make a booking online due to the slots being fully booked.

Will my tour be cancelled if it rains?

Not necessarily. The tour may still take place if there is only a light intermittent drizzle. Raincoats will be provided if it rains. Your deposit will be refunded and your tour will be cancelled if there is heavy constant rain.

Can I book a group tour?

Yes, if we have sufficient vehicles available at the time of booking to accommodate your group. Alternatively, the group can take turns to go on the sidecar tours.

We strongly recommend reserving in advance if coming as a group of 6 or more. If you have a group of 10 or more, we are able to conduct a dedicated tour just for your group with flexible timings and personalised itineraries.

Where do you pick-up from?

Pick-ups and drop-offs from anywhere in Jaipur city centre and hotels located in the city centre are complimentary - pick-up time is usually 30 minutes prior to commencement of tour. There will be a surcharge of USD25 (per trip) for pick-ups out of the city centre.

How do we book and pay for our tours?

Our tours do require reservations - either online or through a phone call.

Online reservations can be made using the "ZoomZ with Us" button on the top right corner of every page or the “Book Now” button on each respective tour description section here. Payments are made via Paypal. Phonecall reservations can be made via our call centre and payment made to the guide in cash prior to the tour commencement.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?

We have a very flexible cancellation policy – refunds are given if cancellations are notified 24 hours before the commencement of the tour or if we need to cancel a scheduled tour. We do not charge extra for rescheduling. Online rescheduling is available for bookings made through our portal while those made through the phone can call us at (+91) 9119-168888.
